STEM Fair
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Fair was originally provided as a curriculum grant. Now an annual event, the WEF is proud to be the sponsor of the Wilmington STEM fair. Kids and their families are able to explore STEM in a hands-on part in the numerous activities offered to students and families from Kindergarten through eighth grade. The fair offers attendees the opportunity to participate in activities and experiments in Earth, Physical and Life Science, including exhibits by Analog Devices Pfizer, iRobot, and many activities created by the Wilmington STEM committee reflecting the science standards followed by Wilmington Public Schools.
WPS Art Fair
The WPS Art Fair is one of the most popular annual events during the school year. The WPS Middle School is transformed into an art gallery that showcases the work of selected students in all grade levels K-12 grades. The fair is set up similar to an art exhibit, in which the chosen student's art work is categorized by medium. It is an excellent way for students to exhibit their efforts in the field of the visual arts and WEF is proud to sponsor this event.
