THE WALK WILL NOT BE TAKING PLACE IN 2024

Since 2009, The Joanne Benton WEF Walk has become a tradition in Wilmington’s schools. The walk reinforces the Wilmington Public School’s belief in physical activity, healthy eating, nutrition and physical education for all students’ academic success.
  
Since the first Walk in 2009, this K-5 fitness walk has become the Wilmington Education Foundation’s largest fundraisers. Fundraising dollars support the annual STEM Fair for grades K-8 as well as for funding in the areas of Technology, Curriculum, Educator Exploration and miscellaneous program grants.
